Below is a list of FAQ's regarding MSRA membership. If you have additional questions, please email our membership coordinator at membership@ma-squash.org. What's the difference between MSRA and USSRA membership? MSRA membership includes USSRA membership. However, USSRA members who live in Massachusetts are not automatically MSRA members. USSRA members may become MSRA members for $20 a year. All USSRA members will receive Squash Magazine; only MSRA members will receive MSRA Newsletters and the MSRA Yearbook. Note that both MSRA and USSRA memberships are required to play in league matches. Non-MSRA league players are subject to default. When does my membership expire? The MSRA recently switched to a fixed expiration date for all members. All memberships, except MSRA life memberships, expire at the end of June. I lost my membership card. What's my USSRA number? You can find your USSRA number on the membership list. Why do I need to fill out an application? I'm already a member. A. The MSRA only stores applications for one year. Often, an expired member believes his/her membership has recently expired, when it may have expired two years ago. More importantly, new applications allow the Membership Coordinator to update your information. How long does it take to process an application? The MSRA's Membership Coordinator processes applications and then forwards them to the USSRA. The USSRA usually takes between 4-6 weeks to process numbers. May I keep the same USSRA number when I renew? Usually, the USSRA number does not change upon renewal. However, if a renewal is late, there have been instances where the USSRA number has been changed. Therefore, it's best not to let your membership lapse for a great length of time.
